Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using GEO Audit (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent ("you"). If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. The Service is for business use.

2. What the Service does

The Service measures how AI assistants answer questions related to your business, researches keywords, writes articles with AI models, checks their quality, and can publish them to a website you connect. It also offers an optional backlink network described in section 9.

Visibility data comes from official APIs of the AI providers, with web search enabled, sampled on a schedule. Answers from these APIs can differ from what a person sees in the consumer apps, and AI answers change from one request to the next. Treat the metrics as estimates, not exact counts.

3. Accounts and workspaces

• Keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity in your workspace.
• Workspace owners and admins control billing and members. Only add websites you own or are authorized to manage.
• Give us accurate information and keep your email address current, because we send billing and service notices there.

4. Plans, trials and billing

• Plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude taxes unless stated. Where we are required to collect sales tax, VAT or GST, it is added to your invoice.
• A free trial is available once per workspace. We collect a payment method when the trial starts and charge it when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund or we decide otherwise.
• Plan limits (websites, articles, tracked questions, network links) apply per billing month. If a payment fails, we may pause work such as tracking and article writing until it is resolved.
• We may change prices or plan limits with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period.

5. Your content and data

You keep all rights to the content you provide and to the articles the Service generates for you ("Your Content"). You give us a limited license to host, process and transmit Your Content only to run the Service for you, including sending it to the AI and data providers listed in our Privacy Policy.

We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics (for example, average visibility by industry) to improve the Service. These never identify you or your websites.

6. AI-generated content

• Articles, outlines, brand profiles and suggestions are produced by AI models and can contain mistakes, outdated facts or wording that resembles other sources. Review content before it is published.
• If you turn on automatic publishing, articles that pass our quality checks are published without your review. You remain responsible for everything published on your website.
• You are responsible for making sure published content complies with the laws and platform rules that apply to you, including advertising, consumer protection and intellectual property rules.

7. Publishing to your website

When you connect WordPress or a webhook, you authorize us to create and update posts on that site. We store credentials encrypted and use them only to publish or update articles you approved or set to publish automatically, and to check that network links are live. You can disconnect at any time from the Setup page; revoke the application password in WordPress as well if you no longer trust the connection.

8. No guaranteed results

Search engines and AI assistants decide independently what to show. We don't guarantee any ranking, traffic, citation, mention by an AI assistant, or business result.

9. Backlink network (optional)

The backlink network is off unless a workspace owner or admin joins it for a specific website and accepts the two statements shown on the Network page (consent version 2026-09-network-v1). Joining is separate from your subscription and you can use the rest of the Service without it.

• How it works: articles we write for member websites may contain one link to a relevant page of another member, and other members' articles may link to you. Links only appear in the body of articles, at most one network link per article, and only in about half of articles.
• Risk: Google's spam policies treat excessive link exchanges as a link scheme. Our safeguards (topic and language matching, no competitors, no direct link swaps, limited volume, mostly brand-name anchors, gradual ramp-up) reduce that risk but cannot remove it. If a search engine acts against the network or a member, websites that took part could lose search visibility. You join at your own risk.
• Review: we check each website before activating it and monthly afterwards (for example: HTTPS and real content). Websites in these industries can't join: gambling and betting, adult content and escort services, payday loans, CBD and vaping, replicas, essay-writing services, bought followers, and forex signals. We may decline, pause or remove any member at our discretion, and we may pause the whole network at any time.
• Your obligations: don't try to manipulate matching, sell or trade network links, or remove links you received credit for while keeping the links you gained. Tell us if a member website becomes harmful or unrelated.
• Leaving: you can pause or leave at any time. When you leave, links that were planned but not yet published are cancelled. Links already published stay in the articles where they appear; you can edit your own articles, and we don't control other members' websites.
• Sharing: other members can see your domain and the URLs of articles that link to them, and you can see theirs. Nothing else about your account is shared.
• We don't guarantee how many links you will receive, how quickly, or their value.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• publish unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, hateful or sexually explicit content, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
• promote illegal products or services, or counterfeit goods;
• add websites you aren't authorized to manage, or target people or businesses with harassment or false claims;
• overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Service, bypass plan limits, or resell the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend or remove content, websites or accounts that break these rules.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as AI model providers, keyword data providers, Stripe, email delivery and your own website platform. Their availability and terms are outside our control. We may change which providers we use.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if required by law. On termination we stop tracking, writing and publishing for your websites. You can ask us to delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, traffic, search rankings or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

15. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content, content published on your websites, your participation in the backlink network, or your breach of these Terms.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the new Terms. Changes to section 9 never enroll a website in the backlink network; members are asked to accept a new consent version where the change affects them.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction], and disputes will be resolved in its courts, unless the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere.

If these Terms are translated, the English version governs.
